GENERAL EVENT INFORMATION
SHOWCASE is ...
A Mercer Island institution unmatched by any other school district in our region.
An awesome, inspiring, fabulous presentation of all the fine arts programs in Mercer Island School District.
And the major annual fundraiser for maintaining, enhancing and expanding our district's fine arts programs!
Community support of Showcase funds MISD faculty-directed improvements to our students' curriculum-based fine arts education.
Among many other enhancements, previous Showcase proceeds have purchased, for example:
- Artist in Residence
- Percussion equipment
- A cello
- Lighting
- Port-a-Studio
- Keyboards system upgrades
Showcase is co-presented annually by the Mercer Island School District and Mercer Island Fine Arts Advisory Committee (FAAC), an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization solely dedicated to supporting MISD fine arts education.
Your support of Showcase is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

ADMISSION
Admission to Showcase is free for all children under 18 and all MISD students. MISD staff and their partners are also very welcome to free admission.
Ticketed admission by donation is asked of all other adults, including parents of artists and performers.
Minimum requested donation: $7 per single ticket, advance purchase; $10 at the door.
Your donation covers all events, both nights.
PATRON-LEVEL DONATIONS

Patron donor levels provide additional benefits:
- to our students' fine arts programming, most importantly
- and to YOU, in the form of program acknowledgement and privileges that may enhance your enjoyment of Showcase, especially our very popular Wednesday night performances!
All Patron-level donations cover admission for up to 6 related adults. Our Patron donor levels and their associated benefits are:
$200 MAROON & WHITE PATRON providing family admission, program listing, early seating and up to 2 reserved parking spaces Wednesday evening, and ...eternal gratitude for your generosity!
$75 PLATINUM PATRON providing family admission, program listing, early seating and 1 reserved parking space Wednesday night.
$50 GOLD PATRON providing family admission, program listing, and early seating Wednesday night.
TICKET PURCHASE OPTIONS
Seating is limited by constraints of space and fire safety regulations. We strongly recommend advance purchase of your Showcase tickets.
There are 3 ways to purchase Showcase tickets:
- By mail with a personal check
- Online with a major credit card
- At the door, cash or check only
TO ORDER TICKETS BY MAIL:
- Complete the mail order form in the Showcase flyer that may have arrived in your mailbox. Or click here to download a Mail-In Showcase Ticket Order Form.
- Make your check payable to: FAAC.
- If offered by your employer, please enclose a Matching Funds form.
- Make sure to include your e-mail address on the order form! If you do not have an e-mail address, you must please enclose a self-addressed, stamped return envelope.

Event entry is through the front exterior doors to MIHS Commons.
The MIHS front parking lot is reserved for Maroon & White and Platinum Patrons. Please allow extre time and consider carpooling for unreserved parking.
All audience seating for Wednesday night performances is in the MIHS Main Gym bleachers. Expect lines for seating. The Gym doors will open:
PATRON EARLY SEATING: 6:00 pm (Performance 1) / 7:55 pm (Performance 2)
GENERAL SEATING: 6:15 pm (Performance 1) / 8:05 pm (Performance 2)
In respectful consideration of performers, faculty and already seated guests, the Gym doors will be kept closed during each's group's performance, throughout the evening. Please arrive early!
